GFR Calculator (Glomerular Filtration Rate)
Calculate glomerular filtration rate to assess kidney function. Uses CKD-EPI or MDRD equations.

Recommendation
Kidney function is normal. Continue healthy lifestyle.

What is GFR?
Glomerular Filtration Rate measures how well the kidneys filter blood. It's the best indicator of kidney function and is expressed in mL/min/1.73m².
Kidney disease stages
Chronic kidney disease is classified into 5 stages based on GFR. Stage 1 indicates normal function, while stage 5 indicates kidney failure requiring dialysis or transplant.
Factors affecting GFR
GFR naturally decreases with age. Other factors include diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and certain medications.
