Understanding Ovulation
Ovulation occurs when an egg is released from the ovary, typically 14 days before your next period. The egg survives 12-24 hours, but sperm can survive up to 5 days, creating a fertile window of about 6 days.
Signs of Ovulation
Common signs include increased cervical mucus (egg-white consistency), slight temperature rise, mild pelvic pain (mittelschmerz), increased libido, and breast tenderness.
